I had recently helped my older brother restore his Honda SS50, when I got the urge to take on my own project. It was some 22 years ago, as an 18 year old, that I owned one of these bikes,in my home town of Leek, in Staffordshire, and it seemed the ideal bike to restore, simple design and having a soft spot for it made it the logical choice! That was nearly a full 2 years ago, and the project is nearing completion.
This is my brothers fantastic Honda SS50, he restored. It was while lending a hand that I fancied tackling my own project.
